Pianuance for teachers

See what happens between lessons

Students join your studio with a code. Then you see how much they practiced, where they got stuck, and whether they did their homework.

Teacher mode on a tablet: Ms. Verhoeven's studio with join code BAD0290, a student's practice this week, an assignment and their hardest bars

How it works

Three simple steps

  1. Step 1: Create your studio

You get a code to share with your students.

  2. Step 2: Students join

They type the code in the app. That's it.

  3. Step 3: Send homework

Pick a piece, the bars, the hands and the tempo. Their practice shows up in your studio.

Homework

Homework that opens ready to play

Choose the piece, the bars, the hands and the tempo, and add a note. It opens on the student's phone exactly as you set it up.

  • For one student or the whole studio
  • The music waits for each note, so they can't rush
  • See when it's started and when it's done
Questions

Teachers often ask

Anything else? We'd love to hear from you.

What does it cost?
Teacher mode is part of Pianuance Pro, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. Your students don't need Pro. Want a look first? Open the demo studio in the app.
What do my students need?
The free Pianuance app on a phone, tablet or computer, and a digital piano or keyboard with a USB or Bluetooth connection.
Can I see exactly what they practiced?
You see their minutes and days per week, what they played, how well, and which bars gave them the most trouble.
Is this meant to replace lessons?
No. It's for the six days between lessons. Students know what to practice, and you know where to start.
